The beta launch of eSellerSocial has been announced. The platform was developed to use social media to assist in driving qualified leads to local businesses with a real intent to purchase goods from the seller.
Ecommerce has come a long way. But it still hasn't adapted to a marketplace for micropayments, a major reason cash is still king for items costing $1-5 USD but app stores like Google Play, Microsoft Store, iTunes/App Store have had some success. Netflix is another example of streaming media accepting small forms of payment for simple service. Video games, too, are using streaming, rental, on demand, subscription, audio/video, software and other sorts of offering through their consoles, many for small payments into their gateway. This could extend way beyond these major players into many other sectors of products/services, digital/tangible.
